La oferta más reciente para hacerse con la compañía es del empresario Hans Rudolf Wöhrl, que el domingo por la noche había informado de su disposición de adquirir Air Berlin por hasta 500 millones de euros, oferta que ya, señaló, ya había trasladado a la aerolínea quebrada.
El empresario precisó en un comunicado que Lufthansa, Condor, Tui, Germania y Niki Lauda habían sido informados de que pueden participar en la oferta y que, de no estar interesados en ella, estaría dispuesto a asumir solo, con el apoyo de inversores, el saneamiento de la compañía quebrada.
