Durante el pasado jueves 14 de diciembre en el Aeropuerto de San Juan se vivieron momentos de tensión y se violaron normas de procedimiento que pusieron en riesgo la seguridad operacional al prestar servicio sin autobombas operativas.
Marcelo Villan, Jefe de Aeropuerto ANAC de San Juan, literalmente jugo con fuego. Esta historia que no debió haber ocurrido sucedió durante la tarde del jueves 14 de diciembre pasado.
Por la mañana de ese día en la terminal aérea se operó en forma normal, hasta que aproximadamente a las 11 AM comenzó la recorrida de pista habitual que realiza el SSEI para chequear que todo esté en orden.
Apenas comenzada esa tarea la autobomba comienza a fallar. Producto de esa falla regresa al cuartel de bomberos sin poder realizar esa recorrida con lo cual el mecánico inicia la tarea de reparación del vehículo pero sin éxito.
A eso de las 13hs se da el aviso de que la autobomba esta fuera de servicio, el jefe de aeropuerto queda notificado del problema y seguidamente desde las 13.15 el aérea regional de Córdoba también es notificada del problema.
Posteriormente a las 14hs se emite un notam en donde el aeropuerto baja de categoría 7 a 5 por autobomba fuera de servicio, con lo cual determinadas aeronaves de gran porte no pueden operar en dicho aeropuerto.

Pero a las 14.50hs sorpresivamente con un nuevo notam el jefe de aeropuerto Marcelo Villan levanta la categoría de la terminal aérea a 7, cuando la autobomba continuaba fuera de servicio solo para que un Boeing 737/800 de Aerolíneas Argentinas –vuelo 1434/5- que estaba en Mendoza regrese a San Juan.
(Ver NML al pie del notam. Normal).
Para que supuestamente no queden rastros de la maniobra o vaya a saber con que otro fin a partir de las 17.30 el jefe de Aeropuerto vuelve a bajar la categoría a nivel 5.
El jefe del SSEI en acuerdo con la inspectora de la DININA en San Juan sacaron el notam con la novedad de autobomba estaba fuera de servicio y el jefe aeropuerto mintió la categoría
Consultado por Aviación en Argentina, Fernando Gatica Secretario General Adjunto de ATE San Luis y Coordinador ATE ANAC REGIONAL CORDOBA– aseguro “el jefe de aeropuerto a sabiendas de que no tenía la categoría, presiono al personal para que levantara un notam, que mintieran la categoría del SSEI, poniendo en riesgo una operación que ya estaba encaminada en otro aeropuerto. Marcelo Villan hizo aterrizar un avión de pasajeros con pasajeros con una categoría falsa, una categoría que no era la que correspondía porque la autobomba estaba fuera de servicio y también intimo al personal a que si la tripulación se bajaba de la aeronave que tenían que acompañar a esta mentira del jefe de aeropuerto vulnerando así la seguridad operacional y atentado contra la vida de pasajeros, trabajadores y vienes”
